Icebar, Stockholm

August 2012 I visited the Icebar in Stockholm. It is a bar where the atmosphere is artifically cold. You find the bar inside the Icehotel. It is permitted to be there only 45 minutes by health reasons and to be honest you want not really stay longer. It is interesting but not more than for 45 minutes. You get clothes so it is not cold for you. One drink is included of course in a glas of ice. If you want a second drink you can reuse this glas made of ice if it is not damaged. If you damage it with your lips you have to paid a little more for the next drin. Welcome to the coolest bar in the world and enjoy. The entrance to the Icebar.

Burj Khalifa, Dubai

Beeing in Dubai you should visit Burj Khalifa. I booked the late tour when the sun goes down. I recommend to reserve tickets much earlier because on the day you visit the sunset tour is often not available. The greatest effects you have when you see the lights of Dubai and that is why the sunset tour is so popular.

Atlantis The Palm Hotel, Dubai

In Juli 2012 I was in Dubai in the Atlantis Hotel. I will bring you some pictures of it too you. In this part only the hotel from Persian Gulf side and the side of the beach. The Atlantis Hotel in Dubai is located on the palm which is an artifically island with the shape of a palm. The side to the Persian Gulf has no beach. Here you see the hotel from the Persian Gulf side:

The beach of the hotel is to the side of the town.

From the beach you have a look on the skyscrapers of Dubai.

There is personal that brings you towel to you when you are at beach.

And of course there is a pool from the beach side:

You can see the legandary 7 stars hotel Burj al Arab from the beach side.

There is waterpark next to the hotel and if you don't want walk you will be driven there.

In Dubai you can see many luxury cars. In the front of this hotel too:

ABBA Museum Stockholm

In May 2013 I was in the new opened ABBA museum in Stockholm. Everybody who associates museum with something boring I can say only: This museum is not boring at all.

To enter it you need a credit card because money is not accepted in this museum to pay the entrance fee.

The museum is not big and all things you can see are quite interesting. Additionally there are some interactive elements like a dance hall or a performing stage where the visitor can do something more than only have a look at the exhibits.

But look yourself.

The building is simple and functional - typical Swedish manner.

The entrance is made with a red carpet. Right you see all 4 members of ABBA. And where the faces are the visitors can put their own faces. The first interacting part of this museum.

I will only show a small part of the exhibits because I want you have fun to visit this museum yourself. So the described elements of this museum are only to made a taste for you. After you pay the entrance fee with your credit card you will see a short movie of ABBA. After that you can explore the museum. There you will see exhibits like costumes or instruments of ABBA. There are many films too like for example the video of the winned Eurovision Song Contest with 'Waterloo'. Some costumes:
